IBI at Step By Step Foundations

Conveniently located in Brampton at Bovaird and Van Kirk, Step By Step Foundations is a private, clinical and educational-based settings that provides behavior analytic intervention services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Step By Step Foundations offers a wide array of scientifically-based intervention services to young children with autism and their families. Students at Step By Step Foundations learn valuable skills in language, social skills, play skills, reading, writing, and arithmetic in both 1:1 and small group instructional formats. Students are also given many opportunities to practice and acquire valuable classroom-based skills in preparation for the mainstream experience.

Step By Step Learning Group utilizes a variety of teaching technologies and measurement procedures based on the science of Behavior Analysis. These instructional technologies include, Precision Teaching, Fluency-Based Instruction, Direct Instruction, Discrete Trial Training and Incidental Teaching to name a few. All strategies and teaching technologies used by Step By Step Learning Group have been scientifically validated, with well over 40 years of outcome research data to support its efficacy.

Individualized programming is enhanced with group speciality classes that include art, music and movement, yoga and karate, and annual end of year concerts.
Step By Step is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Both morning and afternoon programs are available.
